UK government support in Iran is extremely limited. Regional tensions remain unpredictable. Air, sea, and land routes sit under Iranian control and can close at short notice. If either of you would have to ignore that page to keep a listing live, take the listing down. If you still want a travel companion after that paragraph, you want the person who will match a visa path and this month's dress rules with you. Someone who only lists Isfahan adjectives is not helping you decide.

Persian (Farsi) is the main language. Azerbaijani and Kurdish matter in their regions. The rial is the official unit. People count in toman, ten rials to one toman. Tehran is the capital.
