Nuuk or Ilulissat: who already bought the same Air Greenland seat?

The inbound ticket is the first Greenland bill. Copenhagen or Reykjavík to Nuuk is the usual door, and it is not a leftover cheap fare. After that, every town is another Air Greenland seat. A Greenland travel companion is the second name on that hop and on a Nuuk or Ilulissat room that already quotes for two.

What does a Greenland travel companion actually pay for first?

Sisimiut or Kangerlussuaq belong on the trip only if that hop is already paid. Kulusuk or Tasiilaq is an east-coast ticket, often via Iceland, and it is not a Nuuk afternoon. There is no casual bus between any of these names.

Why isn't Ilulissat a bus afternoon?

Distances here are air. The map looks close until you price the next hop. A coastal ship runs in the long-light months, and it is a multi-day timetable, not a casual bus you catch after breakfast. If someone writes Nuuk then Ilulissat on day three without a seat or a ship berth, they are still looking at a screenshot.

Name Nuuk if that is where you land and sleep. Name Ilulissat if the Icefjord hull is why you flew. Write both only when both hops are paid. Meetup names worth writing are those two, plus the harbour if the boat morning is real.

What do two people actually split?

Summer boats and long light, or a winter bag?

June to August is the boat season: long light, Icefjord hulls, and no excuse for mixing coats. Winter is dark, cold, and aurora if the sky allows it. That is a different packing list and a different match.

A Nuuk week can be shorter. An Ilulissat week needs slack for weather. Planes wait on the wind more than they wait on your photograph. Say the season in the same sentence as the town.
