What does a gorilla week actually look like?

Camps in Odzala-Kokoua and Nouabalé-Ndoki sell as pair or small-group products. A leftover single often pays for empty beds or waits for a fill. The week usually starts in Brazzaville, the capital on the Congo River across from Kinshasa, then moves by domestic flight or by the paved coastal road toward Pointe-Noire if the Atlantic side is real. French is the working language in offices and lodges. Lingala and Kituba still carry the markets and the shared taxis. Same start day means you can share the airstrip transfer, the camp night, and the Brazzaville room before departure. Arriving a day apart usually means two vehicles.
