Iron-ore train or Adrar: who already packed the water?

The iron-ore train from Nouadhibou is long and dusty, and nobody hands you a printed timetable. If someone is coming with you to Mauritania, they have already named that wagon or an Adrar oasis night, and they have sat with the same government page you just opened. Dune talk does not buy a sept-place seat or a desert room.

Hassaniya Arabic, French, Pulaar, Soninke, and Wolof are all in the country. The ouguiya is the cash you count. Nouakchott is the sprawling capital where the Sahara meets the Atlantic. It is a gateway, not a beach week.

When is the desert window?

November through February is the cooler desert window. March can still work. Prefer November through February unless you both named a hotter shoulder.

Put the month in the trip. A December train listing and a June heat listing should not share a roommate. Pack water, a scarf, and a backup ride from the stop you named, because the freight wagon is not a timetable product.

Which names belong in the trip?

Write Nouakchott if the capital night is the landing. Arafat and Dar Naim are districts inside that capital, useful as meetup text if someone actually lives or sleeps there, not as fake second cities. Write Kiffa if the Route de l'Espoir and the Assaba crossroads are real. Write Nouadhibou if the train is the point.

What do two people split in ouguiya and seats?

• Train logistics: water, food, and the onward ride from the stop you named
• An Adrar oasis night if that is the week

The sept-place fills by the seat. Two empty places you did not coordinate is how you lose the morning. The train is cheap in fares and expensive in preparation. Sharing water, cash, and the backup ride is how the night stays calm.
